Feedthroughs

Thermal Detection manufacture a range of pharmaceutical feedthrough glands for sealing on a wide range of temperature measurement devices in autoclaves, freeze driers and lyophilizers.

An essential requirement when sealing thermocouples and temperature probes is to ensure minimal chamber leakage during a cycle. This is often difficult to achieve, but the following products were carefully designed to overcome this and they have successfully proved their value over many years:

For validation wire thermocouples:

The Thermocouple Entry Gland can seal up to 36 thermocouples into an autoclave.

The Conax HD Gland is a mechanically sealed gland for passing up to 30 thermocouples into a vacuum or pressure system, ideal for validation or mapping of pharmaceutical freeze dryer or lyophilizer.

For autoclave chamber and load probes:

Feedthroughs are available for feeding multiple temperature probes into an autoclave.
