Thermal Detection Limited (TDL) has been established since 1982 and is located in a modern manufacturing facility based in the North East of England in the heart of North East industry. Here we have the technology alongside experienced and knowledgeable engineering staff that are able to provide regular ‘off-the-shelf’ products as well as the in-house capability to custom engineer for our clients particular application.
Thermal Detection Limited supply to all the general manufacturing industries, but we have specifically focussed on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Historically these markets have design applications that are more demanding, controls more restricting and often extensive documentation/certification requirements. Here we have built a reputation for reliability and have developed a recognised expertise. This has frequently been achieved by working alongside high profile colleagues within this sector. Our aim is to work closely with our customers and to provide an engineered solution that will achieve its aim.
Thermal Detection Limited have always been committed to producing products to the highest standards and we have stringent controls throughout every stage of production. All products undergo a 100% visual and functional test, with the results recorded and retained for a minimum period of 5 years. We were originally accredited to ISO 9000 in 1993, and more recently to BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
