The oil and gas industry sector includes the production, transmission and storage of both gas and liquid products. Throughout these various activities the measurement of temperature is a critical parameter and second only to the measurement of pressure. Many of the temperature products supplied to this sector will be located in hazardous areas and are similar to those supplied to the petrochemical industry.
