SL160 90° Autoclave Temperature Probe

The SL160 Autoclave Temperature Probe is specifically designed for measuring the temperature of liquid loads contained within bottles, vials and similar containers during pharmaceutical sterilisation processes. Suitable for both load and chamber temperature monitoring, the SL160 provides accurate and reliable temperature measurement throughout the autoclave cycle.

Featuring a 90° bent probe tip, the SL160 is ideal for applications where access is restricted or where the sensor needs to be positioned within containers without placing excessive strain on the cable. An optional chisel-point tip is available to facilitate penetration of bottle closures and seals, enabling accurate monitoring of product temperatures during sterilisation and validation studies.

With its slim, flexible design, the SL160 offers an effective alternative to the Steriprobe® range in applications where space is limited or a lower-profile temperature probe is required. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare environments for sterilisation validation, thermal mapping and routine process monitoring.
