Customers Who Have Already Purchased From Us
To manage and facilitate the provision of products and/or services by us to you, respond to any enquiry or feedback we receive from you, training purposes, compliance with legal requirements and contacting you about placing orders or pending orders.
In processing your order, we may send your details to, and use information from, credit reference, fraud prevention and compliance agencies.
As a customer, we may send you product updates by email. This is to inform you of any changes to our products or introduce new products which will be similar to those already purchased by you. Any such email sent to you will have a clear unsubscribe link in the event you do not wish to receive further product update emails from us.
Potential Customers Who Have Not Yet Purchased From Us
To respond to any enquiry we receive from you, and to contact you about placing orders or pending orders.
As a potential customer, we would like to keep you informed of our product range by sending you product update emails from time to time. We will always seek your consent before sending product updates by email, and each email will have a clear unsubscribe link so you can keep your preferences up to date.

Personnel information is stored on secure servers which are regularly backed up to a UK location.
Credit card information is not retained longer than necessary to process a transaction.
1.4 Will we share your information with anyone else?
Thermal Detection will not share or sell your information for marketing purposes with other companies.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:
- If we have appointed a third party to perform certain functions on our behalf, where those third parties need to have access to your personal information to properly perform their function;
- If we become involved in a merger, acquisition or other transaction involving the sale of some or all of our or our group companies’ assets; or
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with a legal obligation.
We will never share any of your personal information with anybody outside of Thermal Detection for mailing or marketing purposes unless we have your consent to do so.
1.5 How long do we keep your personal information?
We may store the personal information that you have provided in our databases. We will only keep your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary taking into consideration our need to answer queries or resolve problems and comply with legal requirements under applicable law(s). This means that we may retain your personal information for a reasonable period after we stop using your products or services. After this period, your personal information will be deleted from all systems.
